FAQ

Who's behind Upstate Cowboy?

We're a family outfit. We make the gear we actually wear and sell it to folks who get it. That's the whole operation. No warehouse, no boardroom.

Where do you ship?

Anywhere in the United States. We're working on shipping wider — for now, if you're in the lower 48, plus Alaska and Hawaii, you're covered.

How long until my order shows up?

Here's the honest version: our gear is made to order, not pulled off a shelf. Each piece gets printed and stitched after you buy it, which takes a few business days before it ever hits a truck. Figure roughly 2–7 business days to make it, then standard shipping on top. You'll get a tracking number the second it's on the move.

Why made to order?

Less waste, no closet full of leftovers, and every piece is fresh. The tradeoff is a little patience up front. We think it's worth it.

What's your return policy?

Short version: if it shows up damaged, defective, or just plain wrong, we make it right — no fuss. Because everything's made to order, we handle change-of-mind and sizing swaps case by case. Full details are on the Returns page.

How do I know what size to order?

Each product page has a size chart — give it a look before you check out, since made-to-order means we can't do a quick swap as easily as a big-box store. When in doubt, size up on tees. They're built to earn their wrinkles, not shrink-wrap you.

How do I wash this stuff so it lasts?

Cold wash, inside out, tumble dry low or hang it. Skip the bleach and the iron-on-the-print routine. Treat it right and it'll ride shotgun for years.

Do you do custom orders, bulk, or team gear?

Maybe — we like a good batch order. Reach out through the Contact page and tell us what you've got in mind.

What do you do with my information?

Only what we need to get your order to your door and keep you posted. We don't sell your data — that's not the business we're in. The full rundown's in our Privacy Policy, linked in the footer.

How do I reach an actual human?

The Contact page, or just reply to any order email. A real person reads it.
